Cup of Joe for a Joe

I've recently become aware of this awesome orginazation via Facebook. I "liked" them without doing too much homework but after becoming more acquainted with their cause, I was blown away. I thought I'd share because it's such a simple yet truly genuine way to honor a soldier, sailor, marine, airman, guardsman, etc.

Cup of Joe for a Joe works like this:

First you visit their website and choose how many COJ (Cup of Joe's) you'd like to purchase. They are only $2 eacah. You then get to write your own personalized letter of encouragement, appreciation, and/or support to the servicemember. If you want, you can also include your email so that maybe, just maybe, you will have a new pen pal. Not to mention, some way for the military man or woman to thank you.

Military members sign up for Green Beans Cup of Joe for a Joe. When they are sent one, they recieve a notification that there is a Cup of Joe waiting at the Green Beans cafe there on their base.

Most of their 70+ cafes are in Afghanistan, Kuwait, Quatar, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, and Dijbouti East Africa. So you're sure to give a Cup of Joe to someone who needs the extra morale booster.

What can you do to help?
-You can become a fan of this fantastic cause on facebook. They update daily with some recieved a COJ's and a thank you to whoever sent it.
-You can buy a Cup of Joe for a Joe. Let one of our heroes know they're thought of. Even if it's just a single $2 cup of coffee.
-And finally, you can spread the word! The more people that know, the more the troops are thanked in such a simple way.
