Military Abbreviations

Today was a first. It seems my husband knows everything about the military that there is to know under the sun. But I'm sure that's just like any other military man...or man interested in military in general.

Today as we drove onto base, I saw a banner advertising an FRG meeting. I started saying how I am excited for when, and IF we get picked up for active duty, to attend FRG meetings.

You know what he said to me? He said, "What does FRG mean?" That's right. For once I knew something. I knew an abbreviation he did not. I was astounded. I looked at him in my joking manner and said, "You mean to tell me I know what that means and you don't???" He just laughed and said, "Go ahead, soak it up. Enjoy your one moment."

So I am enjoying it for today. Because I'm sure a moment like this will be few and far between!
